Can a player who has hit his cap in training still be trained in FT's?

According to my salary calculator, FT's don't matter...but thought I'd check anyways you you all.

Thanks!

As far as I know and as far as the consensus in the forums, the answer is yes.

a player who has hit his cap can be trained in anything, just the results will be slower

i did a long post once detailing a bunch of players who have gone up to double the expected wages for their potential level

ft and stam training is unaffected by the cap so you can train then freely

but you can still train a "capped" player if it is important enough, just expect the results to be very slow

Yes, that's true but I don't think that's the spirit of his question. If you want to be technical, you can train a player who is 100 years old and has 500k salary just don't expect anything out of it.

I'll pass.

6th man can have a max salary from 15-18k. But that doesn't mean that you can't train him once his salary is above this. You can still train him and his skills will still pop up but it will be ridiculously slow, it will probably take your life time to have a pop in one single skill :P (sarcasm here).

Just one warning: remember that the salary is affected mostly by the main skills in a player's role, while the training cap is affected by all skills.
So, that means that a very balanced player will hit his cap much sooner than expected. Samurai_Tungi gave you the consensus cap for a 6th man potential player, which is 15k-18k, but the cap may be hit even at 12k if you rotate his training over all skills, for example to turn him into a SF.
