Here is my question to you:

Why would we chose a foreigner to run our U21 Team?

because I think, that all the other candidates don't have the experience, which I have, because of 4 seasons of managing also big national teams like Germany...

I exactly do now, what I'm allowed to do and what I'm not :-)

@feroza: Maaari ko bang malaman kung sinu-sino scouts mo? At kung ano klaseng players ang gusto mo?

@intendis: Suppose you won the elections and Philippines and Germany were to battle each other in the finals, would you do everything you can to beat your own home country?

@others: May I hear more from you? Like what are your plans for the U21 Team if you win.

greedy,

tungkol naman sa players, syempre mas ok kung all around. pero since U21 pa lang tayo, mahihirapan tayong kumuha ng all around players agad. guards na mataas ang OD, tas big men na mataas ang rebounding. the guards will take care of creating TO's and the big men will have to be able to crash the boards day in, day out.

syempre hindi ko rin sinasabing yan lang ang focus ko. at the end of the day, the team with more points wins the game so the player will have to have offense up their sleeves.

if you want me to be more specific, i would rather stay away from players with 3 or below handling and passing regardless of their position. these 2 skills determine the number of TO we are to give up and more TO means more chance for the opposing team to score.

also, salary alone will not be my basis in including a player in the team. players with high SB and JR tend to have higher salaries than those who have just enough of these skills. example: i would rather enlist a C with respectable SB and wondrous ID than a player with prolific SB and prolific ID even though the latter will most likely to have a higher salary than the first.

hindi ko pa masabi kung ano ang specific na plano na gagamitin laban sa mga makakalaban natin kasi karamihan sa mga teams ngayon, hindi pa final ang lineup. kahit naman lineup natin magbabago pa depende kung sinong mananalong manager/coach. one thing is sure though. i will give time and effort to this in case i win the election.

i hope i answered your question. ^_^

@ i think, the match against germany would be the one, i would think the most time about the lineup and tactic, because this is the match i'd like to win most :-)

and this motivation would be even higher, because this would be the final and titels are the most important things in buzzerbeater, nobody remembers a second place in a few seasons :-)

@intendis

Pilipinas had been doing fairly well in these past few seasons in the world stage. What would you improve to make a better showing in the seasons to come?

this is a very difficult question, because you need to have the right players to have success. what I mean is, if you manage a senior team, you've got more or less every single season the same players in the starting 5, only sometimes there are young players, who improve the team.

in the u21 this doesn't work this way. every season you've got a complet new roster, you need to have good players on each position and often you've got very strong guards, but the big guys are weak and the other way round. in that case, it's difficult to have a good season.

That's why I want to communicate a lot with the managers of potential players, that they are all well trained to have the optimal success. Even the 18 and 19 year olds need to be coached, because primarily new managers are making lots of faults at the training of their talents.
