Yo.
Good luck to everyone in season 14. I'll probably go through the whole season with just my 3 trainees. Don't injure them!

Hi there Jenkins, welcome to div2. If you're scared of injuries get a better doctor!!! LOL

A warm welcome to Goldfish, Cowboys and aussie pride to div 2 as well.

and a welcome back to this league again Meteors LOL, I'm sure you had fun in the ABBL and learn a lot from it, as well as saved a tonne of money...

Shucks no good draft pick for me again this season... I got an average SG with 4.5k salary and starter potential only. *cries*
Gonna be a long season again, GL to everyone.

I drafted my first preference, a 3.8k perennial allstar 18 yo, but his skillset is rubbish. I invested 80k into scouting so if I can sell him for a profit I'll be happy.

Yes i am back after being chewed up and spat out by the ABBL big boys.

Looking to this season to being a confidence builder and cash builder also. I have some pretty big salaries I am still carrying, not sure who I will ditch, depends on what I decide to train this season.

Good luck to all.

Even though I invest 40k a week in scouting, I got crap. I was perhaps partly to blame as I've been ill over the past couple weeks and couldn't focus when setting up the order. Oh well, maybe next season (not).

GL to you all, should be an interesting season.

i invested 20K all season, upped it to 40K in the last 6 weeks and didn't get sh!t (my late draft position didn't help i guess). there looked like a couple of decent prospects, but it raises the question - is it better to save the money each week and just work the trades? that is where i am heading i reckon.

yeah, good luck to all. And welcome back Holtz! got some nice players and are probably the hot favourite on paper it seems.

It is better to save your money and buy a good rookie as the whole draft system hasn't produced for me personally since I got out of div III. I was just hoping to get someone good after not having focused on spending for the draft in the last few season. Hopefully they are way better in those lower leagues which will help out those newer teams.

Its all about luck I reckon.. look at Berwick Beers (J-dog) this season, he got 1st pick in the ABBL draft and got a $7.2k salary 6"6 allstar potential rookie. No wonder he tanked the ABBL for it.

If anyone knows his stats please post it up for us to see. I would like to know whats behind that 7.2k salary.
