Fear Ye All Who Enter

A big welcome to the meat grinder for all the new teams! I can't believe I've survived a few season here already, I feel like such a old-timer now. Looks like we have four solid teams who have made very quick progress through the lower divisions to get here, so I'm sure by the fourth week of the season there will be no easy wins for most of us. And looking at what's left of the Marauders, I'm assuming there's probably an enormous pile of cash somewhere there ready to splurge on a fresh roster that's going to knock us all silly.

Who will be the first to make some bold and premature predictions on what will happen this season?

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

Hello everyone

I took a quick look around and I am very surprised by the high quality here. I will try to make the games against me competitive, but I feel I am probably 3-5 seasons (which probably involves 1 relegation and promotion back to II) before I can really compete with any of you. Hopefully I can grab that 6th spot this season.

Good luck to all.

The teams that promoted seem pretty solid.

We will see if the Maruders go on a spending blitz. Personally I recommend they wait 2 weeks before restaffing...

I'm terrified! Just playin its great to finally have gotten to div II. Its interesting to come into this league as TWSS gave me some awesome advice on my end of season strategy that helped me get to this point and have a nice little bank roll to boot. So we'll see how i can manage that and what i can turn it into. As far as this season goes I honestly think that even if i do add a few big guys i need a couple seasons to be middle of the pack. I'm gonna give it hell though and i'm stoked to be here. Good luck you guys!

Welcome, I see you have a couple of rough injuries to start the season...

Good luck this season.

For sure, super lame it came in the game i clinched my div III title. The fact that i won though kind of made the pain go away. All 3 of my main guard trainees, puzar, pavlicek, and rubio morales have had injuries of at least 2 weeks long during their training. Pavlicek had a 6 week. Kind of killed them hitting their peak!

No worries about that. About the only thing I might buy is an 18 yo USA guy or two with high potential to train.

And not as much cash as you might think. I probably only got 50% of what I paid for most of the guys.

Yeah prices have dropped dramatically - especially for big men. I've been trying to unload my old center and not getting any interest. I could really use the cash until this season gets rolling.

Luckily I stocked up on young guys with high potential over the last season - they seem to be the only
players gaining in value.
