Great idea.

I 100% disagree. The faces are essential to my enjoyment. I have tried several other sporting manager games and one of the reason I like this game so much is the very cute graphics. I think that they are an utter asset to the site. That being said, options are always good and if someone really wanted a non-graphical version of the site I don't see why not as long as the programming effort was trivial.

I prefer the faces as well, but sometimes it isn't suitable to have the graphics up. At work, at school, on some mobile phones etc. The option would be nice.

If your employers find it suitable for you to play games at work, then surely your employers won't mind if the game you are playing at work has cartoon faces on it. If your work was actually serious, I doubt you would be playing games while working.


The graphical layout of this site is one of the differences between this game and so many other crap manager games already out there. It is certainly one of the things that hooked me. I believe there are far more important places to direct development energies than this one.

This could not have been said more correctly or concisely. Well done!

I think that this solution would be a contribution, despite moral factors like the job issue. Because once the page outfit would be made in total different way, it would also mean that it has to be programmed so the informations (outputs) and buttons (inputs) have to be transformed.

So once you can make the interface transforming, there would be minimal work on creating different ways of reading the page, so there could be different options for mobile phones etc. However the main contribution it that I see implementing the game logic into another game like NBA Live.

That was suggested before, I think that you could play a whole game through also wicked NBA Live interface. However there is an easiest thing to do, convince 3D players to act by the results of the GE. I think that once there is AI on a decend level, its mechanism can score or fail from desired position by GE will.

Maybe Im just dreaming loudly, sorry. But the fact is also that such a solution could make a huge money to both sides.
