Hey guys,

less then one day to go, until the first game in the Asian Tournament this season, That’s why it’s high time to start this thread and tell you, who are the glorious 12 player, who will help us to beat every single team and consequently win the tournament :-)

At first I will present you our five Guards:

Point Guards:

Floyd Sabela (12187035)

Our best pure Point Guard, his passing is brilliant, his opponents won’t score many points, just like Floyd himself. His scoring qualities are not that developed, but for inside tactics he will play a big part in our construct.

Carlito Villa (12187115)

He is Guard No.5, and his hire was a close decision to some other guards, but he can play both Guard positions and if he gets the right training, he could get a very important part of the team. At the moment he is very balanced, but on a regular and not on a high level, this is his problem.

Shooting Guards:

Justo Sto. Niño (12190415)

Justo is my favourite player in the team. I don’t know why, but I like him very very much. He has the highest range in the whole team and also his outside defense, his passing and jump shot skill are very good. If he improves even more in outside defense and in his jump shot, he will be one of the best 21 year old guards all over the world

Alex Lazareto (12188793)

For many other people Alex is not inferior as Justo. Lazareto is our pure Shooting Guard, he shoots very well and his work in the defense is brilliant. But if he has the ball, he doesn’t like to give it away and also if he wants to make a good pass, this is often not very effective. Ok, his passing skill is not that bad, but he has to improve a little bit over the season, that he will even better than Justo.

Jess Angelo Placer (12188283)

The last guard I’d like to present is also an ingenious one. Jess is the most balanced player in the team, therefore he will very important for us this season. He can play on the 1 or on the 2, just there, where you need him. If he learns many things this season, he even could get more than a backup, we will see ;-)

Small Forwards

At the Moment there is no real Small Forward in the roster, but we’ve got 2 Guards, who will play on this position in this season.

Mauricio Delmo (12188638)

Buzzerbeater listed him as a Point Guard, and if you ask me, they are completely right. But Mauricio has quite good B-Skills and that’s why he plays the Small Forward for the moment.
He has to learn more Center skills, and then he would be a brilliant Forward, but his manager hasn’t answered me yet, that is why, I don’t know, if my wish comes true.

Gary Loste (13606917)

The same I wrote for Mauricio holds good for Gary. He has a Guard, with nice B-Skills, but Gary is just 20 years old, so there are great chances, that he will be a great player in the future. But at the moment he is just Small Forward No.3, because No.1 isn’t in the roster yet. But later more according to that topic.

Big Men:

We don’t have really a Power Forward, only 5 Centers, but I try to do my best to fill this position.

Merwin Alegre (12189184)

Merwin is the best skilled Center, but and that is the problem, he will be our starter on the Power Forward Position. His outside defense is not that high and also his jump shot doesn’t work really well. But what can we do, we have to take the players, who are available. And Merwin is simply the best solution for that position. His manager told me, that he will give Merwin also a little bit of Forward training and for this reason I’m not nervous because of the Power Forward position

Renan Tidalgo (12187950)

He will be the backup on the 4, his shot is very good, but the other guard skills aren’t so brilliant, also he is a worse Center than Merwin and consequently he is just a backup. But I think he meets the expectation, when he has a good game shape. However the Power Forward Duo this season is not that bad, like I expected it.

Alexander Cortez (12188898)

Alexander is the most expensive player in the roster and he is worth every single cent. His B-Skills aren’t so strong, but his inside skills so much the better. If he has the right shape, he will always have his position in our team, also because of the fact, that he will be trained this season. I don’t know how long his potential is high enough, but it shouldn’t work for this season.

Gregorio Rosal (12189143)

And the next one of our awesome Centers. Gregorio defends and rebounds on such a high level, that we can’t say he is just the backup of Alexander. If we play an outside tactic, I could imagine that he is even the starter, if his game shape is acceptable. His inside shot is not that high, but you can’t have everything.

August Maghari (13604425)

August is the second 20 year old player in the roster, but I think he is one of the best 20 year olds worldwide. His B-Skills are awful, but I have never seen such good inside skills after two seasons of training. That’s why he has a place in the team, also because he is even better than the most of the 21 year old players. I think we will have a lot of fun with him for the next two seasons.

These are the 12 players, who are already in the roster, but we have a lot of more talents, who can make into the team in this season. The best of them I will present now.

Colin Opol (12610858) He will be the next player, who becomes a member of the team, but he was injured and that’s why he hasn’t got the right game shape.

Edgar Tumalaytay (12186748) He has also huge chances, if he improves in passing and jump range.

Thaddeus Cajita (12188805) Thaddeus is also a very strong Guard, if he gets the right training, his manager will soon see a small flag, if he visits his roster.

Rutherford Yorac (12187283) He is our best Small Forward, but I can’t hire him, due to the fact, that his manager wasn’t online since 03.09 and therefore his game shape is very low. He is a Free Agent, please buy him and give him a good shape and he will be in the team :-)

Silverio Lacsamana (12188073) Good defender, will be in the team, if he has the right game shape.

Dennis Totengco (12187643) Perfect player for outside tactics, we have to see, if he will be a member of the U21.

Today is the first game of the Asian Tournament this season. Tippoff is at 23:30. Our opponent will be India, which is the seventh-largest country by geographical area and the second-most populous country in the world. But only very less people of the 1.18 billion are playing Buzzerbeater. Only 49 managers are applied for Buzzerbeater in Inida. The manager of the the Indian team is Gursimran Singh Pabla (50494), who manages a team in first divison of Inida. We have better players on every single position, so it should be an easy win, if nothing totally strange happens.

Players:

Point Guard 17.5k
Shooting Guard 25.5k
Small Forward 20k
Power Forward 22k
Center 43.5k

Game Shape:

India has an average of 6.9, so even there we have the better position :-)

If you want to give an prediction about the result, feel free to do it :-) If there are enough, who want to make a prediction tournament, then we will think about a system and a prize :-)

See you all in the chat tomorrow, until then and good night:-)

The main thing is, that we have won this first game. The result was 85-53, but in big parts of the first half it was quite close. However in the end we achieved a clear win about a not that strong expected opponent.
The most points scored our Power Forward Backup Tidalgo and Center Rosal, but of our players no one could really impress...

The best about the game was the defense and next weak against Lubnan, you will see a very high win :-)

Ok next stage on our way to the final :-)

It is only a scrimmage, but maybe it is more important than any simple game against India or Lubnan. Today we will face the World- and also Asian champion China on a neutral place in Hong Kong. The People's Republic of China (PRC), commonly known as China, is the most populous state in the world with over 1.3 billion people. Only 1700 people oout of these 1.3 billion are playing Buzzerbeater, but this is enough to be the favorit against our team.
Of course we won't get any points for a win, but after the game we will know, how much we can reach this season.

We still have a few problems on the Forward positions. Yorac has still not a good game shape, because he was injured during the game on thursday and our Power Forward Backup Tidalogo can't play for one week. Also Delmo and Dabandan don't have a good game shape, so we have to improvise on the Small Forward Position.

Players:

The Chinese Starting 5 could look like this...

Point Guard: Zhao Fucun (11821107)
Shooting Guard: Wang Changbiao (11822390)
Small Forward: Zhao Xinbin (11822410)
Power Forward: Wu Wenmin (11822120)
Center: Guo Qunpeng (11822842)

Even the game shape of the chinese players is better than ours, so it will be very tough to win, but I will try to give my best to reach a win, although the result won't be so important.

I will be in the chat at the second half, would be nice, if I could see someone of you there. I think I have choosen a time, which could be quite good ;-)

Ok, was the expected defeat today, but I think this isn't so tragical :-) Of course it doesn't have to be that high the result, but our perfomance will be much better in a important game against China :-)

In fact i just wanted to ell you, that I finally created a Forum for the U21, a few managers offered their help, so i please register, in this forum we can talk about everything, which belongs to the U21 :-)

But I first have to accept a register, so never fear, no chinese manager can read these posts there :-)

Next step today is Lubnan, a very easy opponent, who we will beat quite clear, even if they play a crunch time. That's why we can try a few new players in the lineup, because many important players do not have a good shape at the moment, on the one hand because of injuries (tidalgo, yorac) and on the other hand because of too many minutes (lazareto) :-(...

However, this a chance for other players to show their potential, and they will not disappoint us.

Players:

Point Guard: (13574208)
Shooting Guard: (15007475)
Small Forward: (15007500)
Power Forward: (15007508)
Center: (13574229)

So you can see, no of their players would be in our team, many of them even would'nt be good enough for the third divison.

Once again I just want to remember to register for this forum, if you are interested in helping your national team and very important, if you are registered do not hesitate to post and to advance your view :-)

See you all in the chat in 5 hours, cheers!

And the next victim on the road to the final will be the United Arab Emirates today. Unfortunately I don't have the time to write a detailled preliminary report, but I don't think, that this is necessarily for this game. It will be a quite clear win again, but I hope, that we can play more and more with the best players we have. Lazaretos game shape is a 7 now and Yorac has a 6, of course this is still not perfect, but they will be as backups a part of the team today.

But this two are not our only problem-players. Sabela, Delmo and Alegre also only have a 7 at the game shape, I hope, that the managers understand, what I want them to do over the season :-)

But I can also report you something enjoyable: The training on friday was excellent, many players improved, so I think we are on a good way :-)

Wish you all a nice day and hope to see you in the chat...
