I would say it went better than we could have reasonably hope for. Many thanks to all those of you that chimed in on the game plan--there were a few things we did (that I won't go into here) that I would not have done if left to my own devices, and they seemed to have worked to perfection.
We gave ourselves a shot for the game vs Portugal, and that's all I could really hope for. I was worried we were going to need a 25+ point win, which would have been nigh impossible. As is, it's nearly a "winner advances" scenario, so may the best team win! (by which, of course, i mean us)
