The cup run, in my experience, normally drops in rating a lot after a loss, but then climbs back up over time. But it is dependant on what division you are in. So a div 5 team lasting 4 rounds in the cup is great for example. But a div 1 team losing after 4 rounds will give a lower rating, because higher division teams are expected to last longer in the cup.
With the star players, I have never had a rating above 1, but I buy or sell multiple players every week so naturally I have a low rating there.
My rating for this is 5 stars almost every week, and while some people suspect that a high rating in this is due to a low rating in the star players or vice versa, it is possible to have a high rating in both, but it is harder.
