Yes, it's nearly time for week 4 rankings and we completely skipped week 2 but we're (mainly me) have been lazy with the MVP stuff this season. Hopefully we'll be able to pick it up and get a weekly writeup in this season but no promises! :P

Since the last writeup we've seen things start to even out and normalise a little bit. Every team has at least 1 win under their belt now and the Pancakes are the only team in the competition to remain unbeaten thus far behind the scoring power of their star Couto Costa.
WA IS A DUMP, right on the heels of the Pancakes and winner of 6 in a row have spent up big this season and put together a very strong team. Still a fairly new group without much time to work together just yet, you'd probably expect a star or two start to emerge from their squad as the season goes on and they're definitely one to watch.
Coolcats, the divisional leader just last season look to be starting to feel the effects of old age and with no change to their program in seasons, are growing stagnant and going 1-1 all season long so far
Phoenix 5 seem to have finally started putting things together with 2 wins in a row after their slow start to the season and NT big man, Rudoplh Radford is continuing his strong play as BLS have gone the other way, dropping their last 2 league games as most of their star players have rested in preparation for the National Tournament.

#1 Plinio Couto Costa (PAN)
- 25.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.9 steals
His numbers are a down a bit but he's still leading the league in scoring and the clear leader of the only unbeaten team in the league.

#2 Tuan Le (HP) - 25.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.6 steals
Le has dropped to 2nd on the scoring ladder but is still right on the heels of Couto for top spot. His play has dropped off a bit lately and so have the Tigers although they did come close to knocking off the Pancakes with just a close 1 point loss.

#3 Ziedonis Kapricas (BPS) - 14.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 1.6 steals
Bell Park are running hot this season and the play from their starting PG is a bit reason why. He's leading the league in assists by nearly 1 full assist per game while putting up big rebounding numbers for a guard. He's only committed 2 turnovers for the whole season so far as well and shown the ball is definitely safe in his hands. Bell Park will definitely need his Jason Kidd style of play to continue as they push forwards.

#4 Wlodzimierz Staszak (BLS) - 18.6 points, 15.7 rebounds, 1.9 blocks, 0.9 steals
Foul trouble is still an issue for the Polish big man but he's leading the team in rebounds and 2nd in points per game despite being sat out of a couple of league games to rest for the National Tournament.

#5 Rudolph Radford (PHX) - 22.2 points, 19.4 rebounds, 1.0 blocks, 0.9 steals
The Australian star has looked tired at times this season with his team relying on him heavily after the departure of fellow big man Adne Grindheim in the offseason. Despite that, Radfords play has been stellar and he's managed to get his turnovers under control after being plagued by them for the start of the season. Radford is a clear league leader in rebounds and leads his team in points per game as well. He's also found some range this season, going 8-13 from beyond the arc as Phoenix look to extend their winning streak to 3 tonight.

#6 Christopher Sidwell (ADAM) - 19.4 points, 18.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.0 blocks
The Guns are struggling a little bit in their first season in the ABBL but Sidwell has shown that he is definitely ready for the big boys. He's leading his team in points, rebounds and blocked shots while also coming 2nd in assists which is impressive from a center.

#7 Donats Lopins (BAX) - 23.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 2.3 steals
Lopins is 3rd in scoring and 1st in steals per game this season. Like Adams Guns, the Bogans are struggling a little in their first ABBL season but if young assets like Lopins can continue performing at a high level, the future looks bright.

#8 Sui Haili (CC) - 23.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.6 steals
Haili is still the scoring force behind the Coolcats offensive firepower but the team is clearly showing signs of age so it will be interesting to see if they can bounce back.

#9 Jonas Poppenbuttel (BLS) - 19.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.6 steals, 1.6 blocks
After somewhat of a slow start to the season, Jonas is getting in to the swing of things now and his defensive pressure has really stepped up being the only player amongst the league leaders in both blocks and steals.

#10 Leslie Gafa (WOM) - 21.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.2 steals
The Wombats have taken the top spot in the division and while Gafa has been a bit quiet at times, he's still the go to guy and leader of the team.
