Continuing the tradition started two seasons ago by RIP, it is time to vote for the Canadian Hall of Fame!
Past inductees were JBMrock, arguably the most successful BB manager in the world and Scott Romero once the BB world's best big man in season 12. Season 13's inductees were oeuftete, the second most successful manager in Canadian history and long time GM, and legendary national team gunner Jean-Francois Joly. This year they will be joined by one more player and one more manager as voted on by the Canadian public (aka you folks).

Each Canadian manager can vote for one manager and one player. To vote simply write the full name of both the manager and player you wish to vote for in a reply to this thread. Please bold the names so they're easy to find. (if you change your vote please go back and edit your original post to indicate the change)

Voting should be based on the loose criteria of their overall impact and importance to the BB world so reputation, impact on NT, impact on Canadian leagues, community building, etc. should all be included in your decision.

Managers:

BB-Mark One of the game's inventors. Trained a number of early national team players including Aubert and Lemire. His team, the Molson Canadians, have spent 12 seasons in the Naismith with a brief visit to division II where they were crowned champion of II.2 last year.

uflorin - Canada's 2nd NT manager/Trained NT PG Jean-Francois Joly/ Famous for using run and gun offense nonstop

paulo_09 - Canada's very first U21 manager/Trained NT players Letarte and Faure/2 time II.2 champion

GM-RIP - Long time national team coach who was seminal in establishing a real NT program for Canada. Helped pioneer the large scale prospect saving technique in Canada. Has played in the Naismith since season 9.

Players:

SF Paul Wendon: Once touted as the greatest SF in the world, Wendon was one of the first truly balanced small forwards in BB and remains a NT staple.

SF Jean-Paul Laviolette (373520) - Former NT star. Well known for his great jump shot.

PG/SG Josai Aubert (295339) - Played on the NT from season 4 until season 10.

Voting will close one week from today at noon. Please feel free to debate and to suggest other nominees for this or next year's campaign.

As the co-founder of this game, I have to vote for BB-Mark as the manager.

Even though he is becoming less and less significant as time moves forward, I still gotta vote for my own Jean-Paul Laviolette as the player. He wouldn't even be a starter on my team nowadays, but he was great when he was there!

Josai Aubert because i have someone on my team(real life) Named Josia and because he has been on NT for 6 Seasons thats Pretty Intense. BTW why is Jean-Francois Joly on there? he is already in the Hall of Fame

I'll go with Wendon and GM-RiP. Since I've been playing this game, he has done the most for Canada IMO.

I just copied and pasted last year's nominees and added a few new ones and forgot to delete Joly. Oops!

Maybe we should rotate back and forth and induct a manager one season and a player the next?

Manager: Rip
Player: Paul Wendon

I like the idea of alternating inductions, with a player one season, and then a manager the next.
