It would be nice if there would be information in the important news about the difference to my timezone.

The easiest ways would be:

Last line of the post:
"What AM 1:00 boston time means in your timezone, you can check here: **LINK TO A WORLD CLOCK**

or

"The news was written on XXX at XXX boston time. Your time zone time you see under the article."
(under important news is the "written by" tag, so everyone sees the difference to to his local time this way.

I think in an international browser game, this would be an important thing.

Not all of us like using the American date system.

Here you can change prices for the seats in your stadium. The price changes take effect on 12/4/2010.


I have to wait till April this year to change prices?!?!!?
Make an option in preferences where we can change date format so I stop getting confused.

Can you smell what the Hobos are cooking... oh wait its just Roger. (18085274)

Just use English(UK) instead of English(US) and your problem is solved ;)

English (US) is not default to new users -- the default is picked based on user location, and can be changed at signup.

That's interesting. I would imagine English(UK) should be the right choice there indeed. I'll pass the issue up the ranks.
