The only thing I disagree with there is that you said stamina decrease doesn't seem to happen in some weeks. I would argue that it happens every week. The reason I believe this is because I train stamina quite frequently, and quite often my player will hit prominent stamina and every time so far the player will drop back down to proficient the next week even though stamina was trained for this week as well.

I agreee with that, despite Virus answer. I have seen players at GS9 (and still got the data in my excel-sheet) who played a lot in one week, got no training and their DMI didn't change at all in the next week. But this is happening rarely.

As you will know, but didn't mention: There is a small random component in stamina training: (61865.136)

I don't know of any other way to increase stamina than training. So I guess the answer is "yes, training stamina does have a random component."
