Is it posible to change the position of a player??? Exp: From a center to a PF??????

It's possible training him because the position of a player is determined by his highest virtual salary,based on his skills
However,player position it's just an indication and if you put a player out of position you will not have any penalty in the game

I've set a Center in the first substitute position on the bench (because he is about 6 ft 8 tall) but my coach will not play him.. The last 2 games he played about 3 minutes average....
