I certainly knew this day would come this season.

Kitakyushu in 1st place.

The thing that makes him such a dangerous team is willingness to raise his level of activity in the game to get what he needs.

Surely he will take a couple days off and relax or whatnot, but he knows when the big games are, and he is on top of it.

Him taking first over a team that is spending almost 115k a week more than him. Im not even sucking up here either.

A couple of matchups im looking forward to this post season.

certainly the Okayama vs. Kitakyushu matchup. However, homecourt is going to be bigger than huge. Home court may just be the difference in the game.

Stunners vs Small town will also be an interesting matchup.

And they way its looking now, Kitakyushu vs Stunners. Now THAT is going to be a great 3 game matchup.

Stunners paying 300k to 5 players...he stays healthy, he will be tough to beat. But an injury opens a very exploitable hole, and you already know Kitakyushu is scheming on that already.

I still got some more to spend. My team will look different by the time the playoffs roll around. STO got me good in the last game. It is close between us and I think HCA will play a huge part in who makes it out of the Big 8.

If my PG wasn't hurt I would like my chances on Saturday, even if he comes back, it was a two week injury which means a 3 weeks injury because of the bad game shape for a week. I do have to admit, I love playing Okayama..his team always brings the best out of my team.

I hate to say this...but I think STO is a better team than stunners right now. Unless Stunners upgrades one of his bigs, I don't think he will be able to beat STO in a one game playoff.
I actually think it will be Okayama beating STO in the final. If anybody deserves BB3 action, it is The Griffins...but he better bring his A game or I will take his heart....peace

You are exactly right about him being better right now. But I think some things will change between the time we play again.

None of this talk is relevant - all of you are operating well within your comfort zone... you have 200m to run in an 800m race and you are holding hands being nice to one another... why doesn't one of you make a move and force the remainder to follow suit or force them to concede?

Fun season with some good competition!

I can't believe I had 15 invitations out for a scrimmage and all 15 were still there when the time ran out...no scrimmage for the Griffins this week...brutal on my part :(

Oh well...get ready for whoever is next to play!

You know my "excuse"

I need to have a japanese starter in my group of ballers.

Just one. Kwakami is on his way. When he gets good enough to start, then im going to start trying to win the jbbl for real.

It takes a while to train these guys man. It really does. Its hard to train AND win at the same time man.

Well, I may have taken over 1st place again, but I can't say I am feeling so confident about it....my team looking like we were the only ones trying out there and only winning by a few pts after taking the lead in the 4th. However, a win is a win and I hope I can keep HC as we head towards a very exciting post season. Good luck everyone, and hope you have already begun to enjoy some of the holiday spirit...my little boy has his first basketball jamboree (little tourney for 5-6 year olds) today...should be fun!

I've still got Wolph at home and trying to figure out if 4th place is still achievable... how do you fancy me turning up at yours in the first round of the P/O's??

Has Lightning gone off the radar again or is FCTB quickly improving his roster?

Heh heh...could that happened?? Possibly...either way, the play-offs are going to be fun! As far as meeting you in round one...oh baby, wouldn't that be sweet! Merry Xmas to the Griffins...woooo...wooo...WOOOOO! Hahahahaha...I would like to say that it would be awesome to have the chance to knock you out of the POs...but could I? It's not like I haven't experienced having you knock me out of the POs before!

I was also on the road and my starting PG had shit for GS due to his 2 week injury..
I do like my odds.....Stunners new buy will make me spend my loot...but Okayama and STO aren't that scary..
