Hi, I was trying to sign up for supporter, however Paypal says I cannot use my CC and wants me to put in another.

I only have the one and have no idea what Paypal's problem is, I use it for online purchases all the time and it has plenty of money on it...

I'm from Australia, what precisely am I supposed to do? I couldn't see a help link on the PP page

You will need to contact PayPal concerning this issue. It's their site not allowing your CC to be used. BB just uses them as an intermediary to transfer the funds.
