Hey folks,

Stats have been compiled and I've developed a new process that cuts out the dragging process of manually re-typing everything out into a report. Basically, I've created a process that saves me time allowing for quicker turnaround on the player rankings.

I've begun work on re-compiling all of Season 13 and soon I will re-compile for Season 12. I have to recreate the reports for Season 13 because of I forgot to change the damn title on each report to reflect Season XIII instead of Season XIV. Despite that nuisance, all of the stats are from Season XIII.

I'm reposting a new thread for this project as it is because the other reports are now obsolete. Since the process is now 10x faster for generating the reports as I have automated the whole process beyond the first two steps, I am able to generate a Game-by-Game report so you can enjoy the benefit of seeing how your players are stacking up.

For now, I am including a players Score but I am considering in the future hiding the player's score and showing just their Buzzerbeater descriptive rating.

I have no players at top 10. Good news is 6 of my players broke into top 40.

lol, right. Having players in the Top 10 doesn't necessarily make your team the best though. Have a good solid base of talent on the roster though helps the team out.

One thing of note though, is that a few seasons ago, I predicted TDX Dutchmen's Don Hutson to go far and he's improved over the seasons. Of course, I was using a system that was vastly different than the one I use now but still, he's been a dominant player.

Gael Carmona is going to give Hutson a run for his money, so to speak. Averaging 30.8 per game to Hutson's 21.2 but Hutson has played 3 more games than Carmona so he leads by a margin that is small enough for Carmona to overtake in the coming matchups. That's why I like the system because it promotes a healthy dose of competitive play.

Over the years, I want to revamp the ranking system by taking into consideration the quality of their matchup as well. Although Carmona may put up 40 or 50 against the likes of a team like Roxas City Red Claws from last season, that matchup would be rated lower than putting up 40 or 50 against the likes of a team like The Illusion from last season. As it stands right now, all teams are on equal footing, yet the use of standard deviations and the normal bell curve actually creates a system where Game 1, Carmona may score the maximum points of 4 for a conference game but over the course of the season, Game 1's value drops slightly as it compares to the rest of the Carmona's performance over the season.

Carmona and Hutson are two that I always hate playing against but Hutson always seems to have a better defensive game against German so that puts the double whammy on my team.

Carmona is long overdue for winning the MVP Award. Hutson has been coming on strong over the past few seasons so he's giving Carmona a run for the title.

Mario Mannu of the Magic, formerly the High-Flyers, has been progressing nicely over the course of the season, returning to the same form that gave him the MVP title last season with his brother-in-arms, Sean Ryan right behind him. However, this season, Sean Ryan has not been the same and his performance ranking shows. Of course, that could really be attributed to the Owner putting his real-life job over his team on BB. Tsk-tsk.

I'm surprised that the Royal Challengers all-star Center, Alex Watts, is not actually at the top of the rankings. That boy leads everybody in salary by a wide margin.

Felix Mayagoitia remains a contender every year despite not having a Top 10 salary. Something tells me that he's a well-rounded big.

My two bigs, Vernon Partridge and Francisco Candia are disappointing but that's because I cannot figure my damn team out. I did go out and sign a younger PG for training and I am training Paul Wiles and Matthew Craven to be my future bigs. I am planning on moving Cantrell over to SG as soon as my new guy is ready. Lowell Webber surprises me once again though he really has been doing this for a few seasons now remaining one of my more consistent players. He's just not that good at shooting and he really sucks at playing Power Forward so I gotta leave him Small. I'm happy that I got rid of Veiga Paz but shooting guard remains my weakest position still. Vernon Partridge is getting paid too much for what his skill set consists of but he keeps playing at a high level. I doubt I will get rid of him because he doesn't have a strong set of secondary skills. I've learned from him that it's impossible to train those secondary skills at 7'4". Paul Wiles and Matthew Craven have a strong set of secondary skills for their age and their height allows for better training of those skills. I may make the move sooner than I want to but I won't be unhappy with the decision. Candia is getting up their in age and could find himself gone after the season if I can find a suitor.

I agree I certainly was not trying to slight Carmona we hate playin him and I would say he is due for an MVP.

Oh yeah, I knew that. I hate playing all three of those guys (including German). I definitely feel your pain.
