I know some will disagree with my ranking. I put OD over ID because many times you see the best Centers averaging 10-15 pts a game where good shooters average 25 pts. Jump shot seems to be most effective in the offense so i put that as 3. Handling might be lower than 4 and perhaps it may not be that important, but it can make tremendous difference if you have very poor handling and it can really impact what offense tactic you use so it's why i rank it that high. Possessions in the game is based alot on rebounds so I put that in 5. Now Passing can arguably be important so I had hard time with it, it can be really important in some offense tactics like Princeton but then again you can get away with it more in inside focus offense so it sort of in a mix, I can see it rank as high as 4 and as low as 9. When it comes to shooting alot of the shots being taken and decided by a player to take is based on jump shot so I put that at 7. Inside Shooting & Driving some will argue against me on this I know, all those 9 skills are somewhat important but someone has to be rank 8 & 9. Reason I had IS so low is because JS can outweigh in points scored in the game if your IS is low, you can get away with very low IS in outside focus offense with good JS and score like 130-140 pts a game. Driving is hardest for me to evaluate of the rest, seems to me thou without it you can still do just about anything in the offense still. Lastly Shot Block, well legendary blocking skills compared to atrocious blocking might make a difference of 2-3 blocks a game, that means if a player takes 2-3 shots and no blocks he will make 0-2 of the shots where if he gets all of them blocked he'll get 0 shots made, that's only 0-6 points on average SB difference make, I can't see all the other skills would be less important than shot blocking.
