I'm about the entire season late in reporting this, but a while ago, earlier in the season, I trained on PASSING. My starting PG currently is at a 10 in passing and he popped 1, but he remained a 10 in passing.

is this a normal occurrence or was there a malfunction?

I know i'm crazy late reporting this and probably isn't a way to see what happened since it happened so long ago, but is this something of the norm for someone to pop but not elevate their rating?

From what I can tell it went from 8 to 9 nine weeks ago and 9 to 10 this week.

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

no, I purchased him last season (13) at a 10 passing. I remember this because I lacked a decent PG and he fit what I needed, and at a 10 passing, I had to have him. I tried training him up for passing during that season, but he won't pop. So I left him alone.

I trained him earlier this season (14) again for passing and he finally popped, with the green arrow, but he remained at a 10. I thought, with the updates to the game that maybe the point rating will go up later in the day or so, but it never did as the player remains at a 10. And I've been training my low post players ever since, and I haven't trained any perimeter players until this week, and I'm training Shooting Guards. This week I popped my starting PF in inside defense, not any of the guards.

The records that I can look at indicate otherwise, unfortunately.

Weird thing, because this past week my power forwards trained on inside defense and one of them popped, green arrow for him. There is nothing for the PG in question.
