Being a big UCLA fan I noticed there were 14 ex-UCLA players in the NBA. Just wondering how this matches up vs other NBA players from the same college. To qualify players must have been on the active roster at some point this season, and played in at least one NBA game. UCLA dominates in PGs, and beyond Love needs serious help in the frontcourt.

Team UCLA

PG- Russell Westbrook
Jrue Holiday
Darren Collison
Baron Davis
Jordan Farmar
Earl Watson

SG- Arron Affllalo

SF- Trevor Ariza
Jason Kopono
Matt Barnes
LR Mbah a Moute

PF- Kevin Love

C- Ryan Hollins
Dan Gadzuric

I don't know how North Carolina would project overall, but I would have to imagine they would rank pretty high. A few years ago I won my 64 Tourney Pool because I chose N.C to win...I think most everyone else went with Duke. The reason I chose N.C. is because they had 4 projected 1st round draft picks that year. If I remember correctly, 3 of them were drafted in the top 9.

Looks like that draft was a "one hit wonder" for N.C. :-)

Currently Maryland has nothing, but if this were 20 years ago It would be loaded.

Love can grab all the rebounds, so they can go with 4 perimeter players!

Tragically, UCLA has no point guards on campus right now... :-(
