Well, not sure about these, very early to predict and not sure who will sell who, but here we go

Conference Winners -From the Great 8 Snuffies or maybe Kynlala, from the Big 8 Steve Crocs or Me
MVP - Nothing changed here, Rob McNamara from Steve Crocs will take it out again
Scoring Champ - open here, Suffies have good guards, but maybe Dell'Asta again as the Knights will challenge this season
Rebound Leader - Llanes I will put my money on this season
Assist Machine - McNamara, yet again.

Looking at it the Great 8 is the harder side this season, with 3 teams from III entering the Big 8.

Should be an interesting season, seeing who will emerge from the pack, and who is going to go on a cup run as a priority, and who will be changing there lineups and tactics to match.

Hello everyone.

I am the manager of Da Fat Boys Slim and was the champion of III.2 season 14. I noticed there're a few teams here that were from III.2, northcote was one of them, I've also heard of Meteor from Koopasaurus and Violator. It looks like I've promoted to a very tough league! anyways, hope we all get active on the forums and every now and then some banters. looking forward for some heated games this season.

Marmots here. I recognise a whole bunch of the names in this league, and am expecting it to be very, very tough! I'm hoping Clune and O'Daire can lead my team well enough that we can stay up here so I can build a team over the next few seasons capable of pushing deep into the playoffs of II.1.

Good luck all!

EDIT: Also, I would like to file a formal complaint that no other III teams got dumped in this disturbingly strong conference with me... instead, I got joined by the ABBL guy :P

that just measn you will have a greater learning curve :P

Also makes your fight to stay up more interesting with Goldfish :P (on both counts)

this confrence is probably the deepest in all of d2

i know that a couple of others probably have a tougher top end like 2/4 with their g8 having 4nik8rs, adams guns and selby blue tongues and 2/2 g8 with lara, monkey and chumunga but which other confrence is as deep as ours?

I think I'd have to be the strongest #8 team in any conference in II, certainly (since I certainly am the worst team in this conference). Which is both good and bad, really - if I can stay up, I know I've earned it.

A juicy game to start the Great 8 with me playing Steve Crocs. Should be a good tight game with everyone back on 5 for Enthusiasm.

The pick of the games I think in the Big 8 will be Snuffies -v- Ratman. Will be interesting to soo how Snuff plays against the Rat, who everyone thinks has set themselves for a run at the title this season.

yes, cracking start to the season. this is such a deep conference - anything above .500 will be a good result!

Datzilla - good to see you again. Looking forward to resuming an old rivalry. you still have some of the same players which is good to see. Duffill has obviously kicked on a bit! Good luck tonight, should be a close one.

time for a whinge - thank god the rules have changed for this coming season, but did anyone else get ripped apart financially with either 1 or 2 weeks of wages and no match income? I have had to sell a player to avoid being kicked out of the game, as I miscalculated slightly. stupidity indeed.

can't see making a dent on this season as have lost my 6th man and need to focus on training players rather than winning.

too close to pick a winner. Crocs, Ratman, Snuffies, Meateors, DT, Kynlala, the list goes on...

as for scorer - Reyes from Snuffies or Carrington.
Assists - mcnamara
Rebounds - Llanes
blocks - my man Kincis
MVP - Dell'Asta. time to unleash what will be the world's best SF by the end of this season. scary.

Same to you! Lets continue our rivalry and I think it's 1-0 my way.
Duffman is a late bloomer, I was stuck in div3 for quite a while so I had to limit his training to control his salary.

looking at your roster, it looks like we can match up at most positions.... so good luck tonight and remember its not a race.

Well who said it doen't pay to take out players :p

In the first game this season against Steve Crocs, Rob McNamara is out injured.....still recovering from our playoff game when he picked up an injury :D

Brendo69, good to see he will only miss the first game this season. Too bad he couldn't make it back for our first game (imagine an evil laugh echoing around your computer).

By the way, how does the match engine determine who gets injured, and for how long?

Hope it didn't affect his time in the National Team.
