So, what's your guys' opinion on them this year?
Seems like they were having trouble (A LOT) towards the end of December and beginning of January but they've been winning recently, even if it is just against weaker teams. Do you think this is still the championship Lakers we're looking at?
My perspective: yes! They seem to have refound their flow on defense, but I'd really like to see how they play against a good team. It was a waste that they played Miami and Spurs when they were slumping, because those games would have really been a good indicator. With Bynum (who is quickly becoming one of my favorite centers tbh) playing as he is, I think the Lakers could really take it all this season again.
Of course, I haven't really been able to watch the Spurs play as much as I'd like and just statistically looking, they look to be as solid competition as ever. Mavs don't really scare me though...I can't put a reason to it though...like they're winning, but they won't be this strong later in the season.
