First off, big ups to Captain Mizik and his band of Stunners on his JBBL title. The first of the season 7 Gamma 4 (Swoosh, Higashi Lightning, Kitakyushu, Stunners) to get a JBBL/Nippon Cup title.
Man, the Great 8 does it again. No weeks off over here.
until this side gets a little weaker, its going to be really hard to squeeze a trainee into the rotation. It really is unfortunate. As long as most of us are trying to stay in the cup, its really unrealistic for us to consider room for a trainee.
Now the Big 8, however, ample opportunity, not only to train an 18 year old, but to actually RUN THEM IN LEAGUE GAMES.
That is only a pipe dream over here.
All i can say is, i am very very happy i picked up Kwakami when i did, or my team would be totally without a Japanese representative.
Its taken me nearly 2 seasons to get him league ready and with Kotets and 3A over here, im still not sure he is league start ready, but i have no choice now.
Cant sit 22 year old aspiring NT players on the bench anymore, even if i am competing against relegation.
They have got to find a way to even this out. Maybe even add a couple days between the last game of the regular season and the playoffs....Maybe home court in the finals should be decided by the conference that wins the head to head matchup...
...now wouldnt that be something?
