I drafted this player (17741166) this season. He popped in both handling and driving in just one game (48+). He is listed as a 6'3 SG but I am working him at SF to pair training with one of my big men. Tell me what you think. I know there is a rookie thread somewhere but i couldnt find it.

Do you plan to make an SF out of him? Because some of the skills are there, but that pitiful rebounding hurts a bit. I haven't trained big man skills that much, but I imagine it would be painful for a 6'3 guy to improve that rebounding to 6 or 7. To me he looks more like a SG prospect. If you're currently training big men you could sell him on the TL. The high potential always tends to overvalue players, and those two green arrows will also boost your hopes

Hi, don't want to open anouther topic so I ask here ...
Well, I have a 18 years old player with very good (in prospective) Sg skills but he has only atrocius to all the skills of a big man (inside defense, inside shooting, rebounds and blocking).I know that these skills aren't important for a Sg but ...
So, what do you think, in this case, can my player become a very good Sg?
Thank you!

As long as you don't train Driving, and as long as he has good potential, yes. Basically, you want to make him a spot-up jump shooter and perimeter defender.

I haven't decided yet. I am currently training him as a SF in 1-on-1 because I want to continue training my PF. I def don't want to sell him off.

The GS of your players is really bad. Its bad enough to play them for 2 full league games but to also play them in a scrimmage which is uncompetitive doesn't make sense. Try and get your players between 55 and 70 minutes and their GS and performance will improve.

His JS is good enough for now. Start working on his OD. I assume you have stopped training him with your PF since he has popped twice in JR.
