Is training a guy with sixth man potential worthless?

Wouldn't call it worthless. I'm in a lower division, and a fully trained 6th man player would be a star in my team. If you don't need him later, you can always sell him.

Not worthless at all by my own experience. I have trained a guy with 6th man potential recently. He's now close to 14k and is more than a match for the other guys in my league. You can very well train him, a fully trained 6th man would be a star in div IV or V
