Just know that the match order of the All-star game is set by the computer, so i would like to suggest that the All-star's coach should be elected by the eight teams in the same coast. You may ask why? Let me tell all of you some of my ideas.

1. Try to ensure all the coaches will be a human being.....if the final result is more than one users get the highest votes, then who gets the highest marks in the league at that time will become the winner. Or you may ask if some of the users vote for the computer, then, what can we do? Sorry, my answer is you can do nothing on it! If you don't want this case happens on you, try to make the friendship with your competitors ;P

2. More entertaining....I find that all the games played before were also used the same tactics....if it can be set by the human, then it'll become more varied.

3. Build up a communication between the users, if you want to be elected, you need to gather the other users to vote for you. And after you win the election, you also need to collect the All-star players' information so that you can set the most suitable tactic for your team.

I know it isn't perfect enough.....but i think it much better than now, if you have the same desire with me or not, your ideas are also welcomed ;P

The AllStar game needs some fixes on other ends as well.. last year there were alot of better players in my league than the "AllStars" choosen.. BUT since they were on active teams and their minutes somewhat regulated the decent players who got all minutes on bad or bot teams were the ones chosen...

the problem with letting a human coach the all-star team is that they will be able to see exactly how good a player is much like a national team coach. personally, i don't want the same people in my league knowing just how good my best player is.

the all-star game is based on stats...not necessarily the quality of players. the US national team used to select based on stats, but now they pick cohesiveness and best fit. you don't get the best players all the time in an all-star game but if you have the numbers you get in.

I wouldn't want someone else to see my players stats either, though once the players are chosen for the All Star game i don't see why a coach could be chosen just to chose the style of play? Cos otherwise all we get is base offense and man to man every time!

If the player info is hidden, what do you think? The only way to get it is just asking the owner only.......if the owner doesn't cooperate, then the coach can think about to use an 'unknown' but stronger player or a 'known' but weaker player..........'strong' and 'weak' depends on the coach's mind.

as long as the player info is hidden then there shouldn't be a problem...though setting the offense and defense doesn't seem to be that important, might as well just leave it as is. not to mention real life all star games rarely have any offense and defense tactics.

No but it's definitely more of a Run and Gun or Motion style game with less perimeter or inside defense compared to what base offence and man to man produce.

Still i'm sure managers would co-operate with a would be All Star coach by putting their best players forward for it. I know i would and i wouldn't be too bothered about them seeing my players stats because at the end of the day it's how the whole team that performs that matters not just one or two players!

Maybe active teams could nominate (5?) players for the All-Star game, and BB would select (3?) players from inactive teams and bots. The nomination could take effect now, after the 1st round of conference play. These would be the players voted on for the All Star team.

Then BB would show the ongoing vote for the All Star team, with players getting a bit of a boost when they played at home, or away before a large crowd. And maybe there could be a way to vote for the better players of the opposing team after each game, which would have some effect on the "fan" vote.

The coach of the All-Star team will be the owner of the team with the best record in each conference a couple of weeks before the All-Star Game.. The five starters will be selected by the fans, and then the coach could pick the 2nd 5 from among the 2nd and 3rd place voter getters at each position, and then pick two others.

There really isn't a need to know the actual skills of the players, and the other teams can lobby for their players or not, whatever they choose.

The coach could set the depth chart for the game, but the fan votes would determine the actual starters for the game. Tactics could remain as they are now with little or no defense.

All of the above should work even if all the teams are bots. But it could spark a little bit of interaction in leagues that are interested.

Why not let the computer decide which players should participate to the game among the active players only ?

Why not let the computer decide which players should participate to the game among the active players only ?

Too many leagues are entirely bot, or mostly bot, or have teams that go bot, or assigned new owners and players.

Letting active managers nominate more players, and also giving them some role in voting for the players, and perhaps giving more influence to teams with more fans will tend to skew the results toward the more active teams, but will still work OK if few or even no owners participate.

I've also thought about the players' problem, but there's a lot of players to choose. How many votes should BB give to the users? 8/10? And will them vote for their own players only? If yes.....there'll have a lot of players that get 1 vote......After that, the server still need to set a rule to choose who will be the top 10.......it will make a heavy work load to the server, so I've given up this idea, but i still have a dream that all the players can be chosen by the coach ;P
