Hey guy's i've played bb for around 7 seasons now so i shouldn't really need this advice tbh, but i would appreciate all your opinions.

Weekly salary: $ 6 418
Role: draws a paycheck
(BuzzerBeta)

DMI: 15900
Age: 18
Height: 6'3" / 190 cm
Potential: hall of famer
Game Shape: respectable

Jump Shot: respectable Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: inept Handling: inept
Driving: mediocre Passing: average
Inside Shot: average Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: inept Free Throw: average

Experience: atrocious

I spent a fair bit on this rookie, he will be a long term project, which i'll be single training for atleast the next 7 seasons unless a young english talent becomes available then i'd much preffer to bring him in.

Anyways, i'm going to be building him into a SG, I think i'm going to be training Od/JR, keep rotating it weekly for this season.

(Results arn't a problem lose/win doesn't matter atm, he will get 48 mins every week without a doubt.)

(My trainer level is exceptional)

Would be great to hear how you'd all train him. Thanks :)

Since he's at least average in the big man skills and pretty good for an outside player, I would train him to be a great balanced SF. I would train OD and HAN because they are at level 4. When he gets pops there, next training can be anything outside. JR, OD, HAN and DRI would be at level 5 so I'd train to get to 6 in every of those skills. Tha's a total of only 6 pops. After that you have young beast and still a good prospect to train:

Jump Shot: respectable Jump Range: average+
Outside Def.: average++ Handling: average++
Driving: average+ Passing: average
Inside Shot: average Inside Def.: respectable
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: inept Free Throw: average

PS take care of his stamina at the allstars break

Personally I'd train him in big skills for the first two seasons, get them up to prolific/sensational then move to training his guard skills. It's what I did with my SF.

I agree with this plan, it seems great to me. One thing I'd like to add is I like Respectable/Strong Inside shot on Guards because it helps their Driving a lot. If you train JS enough on Wingmen position (I'd recommend at least one-two weeks also on Forwards), he will get at least two pops in IS anyway and he will rarely miss a layup.

Unlike other PG/SGs with Marvelous Driving and Atrocious/Pitiful IS, who miss at least 3-4 layups per game in inside tactis (hint hint - (7929116))
