Id love to actually have a chance to train a guy and see if he could make the NT U21 team one day. I dont know if there is any chance this guy could ever make it with the thousands of US prospects but what kind of training is going to give me the best shot?

I am single position training OD right now with my other 2 trainees. Currently I have a Level 4 trainer.

I would advise you to give him 2 pops in passing, then 2 pops in OD and maybe some JR or 1vs1.

One of my superstars used to be exactly like this guy at 18 years old, and after 3 seasons of hardwork he finally made the U21 Greek National Team.

Weekly salary: $ 29 225
Role: key player
(BuzzerBeta)

DMI: 86400
Age: 21
Height: 6'1" / 185 cm
Potential: perennial allstar
Game Shape: respectable
Jump Shot: tremendous Jump Range: prolific
Outside Def.: tremendous ↑ Handling: prominent
Driving: prolific Passing: strong
Inside Shot: inept Inside Def.: pitiful
Rebounding: awful Shot Blocking: average
Stamina: inept Free Throw: awful

Experience: awful

When I first began, I had no idea to train just like you. make sure you bring up your handling and passing to 7-8. My coaches all told me to train his Outside Defense and Jump Shot mainly. Watch out for Jump Range, that can be costly on his salary.

Thanks Kingdom, that gives me some hope. How about I rotate OD/JR/PA each week this season and see what he looks like going into next season? And form a new plan then?

Would that be smart?

I'd also recommend having a good doctor to minimize the risk of him getting injured and missing weeks to train, at least a L3 or 4 doctor w/ taping injuries proficiency if you can afford it.

Hmm.. Yeah that does sound pretty good but do not count on me. There is mention of a doctor, this is a MUST! You can probably get a premier doctor for cheap and low salary, it is almost necessary. The worst feeling is losing your trainee to injury and will leave you a week or two behind everyone else you are competing for. Its a pain paying 20-30k a week, but I was blessed not to have any lengthy injuries (None of which lasted beyond that game he got injured)

For training again, Focus on OD. Every coach ive talked to has different views, but all have Defense at Number 1. I play in Division 4 ball in America, and my trainee has held 28ppg players to shooting 2-16 in key games. Also watch Game Shape!

Do OD to 12, passing to 12, and JS to 12. I would start with OD.

I bought a Level 3 Doc with Taping Injuries specialty. And I will upgrade my level 4 trainer to level 5 when I can afford it the initial payment for a cheaper one. I added him to the database and I will keep it updated! This sounds promising though and thanks for all the advice, it has made my night!
