I just bought a player on the TL and I want him to be my starting SG and my first backup at PG. Will that make him play 48 minutes in competitive games? Will his Game Shape be ruined?

Check the Suggestions they are important

It doesn't guarantee 48 minutes. When he goes to play PG, someone has to come and play SG, so it also means that someone and the starting PG may share the floor and your SG will spend time on the bench.

Depending on your opposition, I would imagine this scheme would result in 40+ minutes for this guy, so playing two competitive games in a week this way will no doubt affect his gameshape.

You can really only play him as starter 2 games a week if you want decent GS. Any more and GS will suffer.

Unless you do what I do and train gameshape every week haha.

Not that I recommend other teams to do this :P
