Hey guys,

I was wondering if you guys could give me some suggestions on how to improve my finances while also promoting this season. I made it to the semis last year and plan to pick up some guys soon to start winning some games. I've got about a mil in the bank so theres money to spend. Also should I find cheaper staff I'm currently at 52K for them.

Thanks in advance!

Your arena is looking pretty good, so I don't think you need to invest much in that.
Now your players seem to have problems. You need to get better players, especially guards. Excluding Primitivo NivĆn, all the other guards have less than $3000 and obviously their performance is very limited. So you should get at least 1 guard with decent skills and preferrably a SF too (and at least you won't have to stick inside oriented tactics). You don't need to look for young players if you're not going to train them. Just look for players who are 27 or older (but preferrably under 30) so that you can get them cheaper.
As for you staff, $52 k looks pretty high. Look for advanced trainer, competent doctor and competent PR manager and your total staff salary could be as low as $30 k.

I'm sure other experts will also give you some more advice. Don't just listen to my advice but listen to theirs too. Follow the one you think will suit your team the best.

Your team is pretty good right now but seems to me you don't have depth. You'll need a good bench to pass forza juventus and others. Your questrion was about finances though. First thing I'd do is to correct ticket prices. You got 116 000 last home game and that's too low especially if you're about to invest in 20-30k player. At the moment you're losing 10-20k weekly, right? Since I wouldn't sell your good players maybe it's not a bad idea to invest in a trainee. That million you have can be enough for 1 player and running costs but eventually you'll need to either sell one of your good players or trainees which you don't have. Selling good players to stay alive in the game is a bad choice.

If you plan on buying a player I'd suggest you sell your 31 year old playmaker for about a million. Then buy PG and SG with 20k salary. Younger guys up to 25 so they can contribute in future seasons.

PS you still need a good SF...

Thanks for the info guys. Here's my Finances:

Expenses Revenue
Player Salaries: $ 124 813 Attendance: $ 116 268
Staff Salaries: $ 52 165 Merchandise: $ 25 423
Scouting: $ 0 TV Contract: $ 64 785
Total: $ 176 978 Total: $ 206 476
Typical Weekly Net Income: $ 29 498
Last home game: 5829 Fans (50% full)

It seems like I have to keep lowering my ticket prices in order to keep my arena filling up. Is that normal?

Guards are obviously a top priority for me, but I'm trying to stay away from those with low OD. I'd like to keep my current PG and add a good SG and SF. Then hopefully have enough $ leftover for backups. How big of salary should I target for the starters though?

I would recommend trying to lower your staff salaries a bit. They seem high for a div 4 team.

Ok I got a cheaper trainer. I have an exceptional PR guy with National appeal at 24K. Is that too much?

Level 3 (competent) PR manager is enough for your team. You should aim for PR manager whose salary is between $8000-9000. You should be able to get them quite cheap.

I think that level 2 PR manager quite enough. The quality of PR managers arenĀ“t significant, but level 2 PR manager is cheaper than level 3 and his salary is lower than managers with higher level.
