With 3:44 remaining in the 2nd quarter of my current game (29546723), Gabriel Cordona scored ("he can't buy a bucket!) and was fouled. Before he shot his free throw, he went to the bench and was replaced by Steve Banfield. Cordona then hit his free throws from the bench...

It all seems a bit silly to me.

I've seen this before myself, but it seems to be only presentational. The guy shooting FTs from the bench has always scored the FT, so it's a dead ball with a chance to sub anyway.

I'd be interested if anyone has a report of someone missing a FT from the bench though, as that would NOT be a presentational error, but an obvious programming error.

Maybe he just pulled a Dwight Howard, and hit the shot while sitting down from the other side of the court with his hulk-like upper body strength.
