Here's the thing; is it better to have 35 minutes of single position training or 48+ of two position training? I think the 35 from one position should be better, however, anyone done any testing?

It's awfully hard to test, but I'd suggest the 2-position, just because you know the player got 48mins.

If you were training IS or OD, you could simply switch to RB or JS, sleep well and try your luck again next week.

35 minutes is probably a little iffy.
A lot of people used to make pronouncements that if it was even 1 minute below 48 they would switch to 2 position training. I always thought that was a little silly. Anything over 40 minutes I'm going to stick with the single position plan.

Thanks for the comments. Now I need to see how the game engine mucked up my minutes in the Cup.

3 of 4 guys with minutes popped. Only the 10 minute guy did not. So a 51, 35 and 37 popped; however I would not read too much into that since I don't train the same thing on consecutive weeks.
