outside iso, a player with good outside offensive skills and driving so he can create his own shot when he gets the ball, and inside iso a good offensive inside player with good handle so he doesnt lose it when hes going 1 on 1 with his man.(try in scrimmage before anything.)

will they tend to get the ball to the better player or will they just try to get it to any perimeter or post player?

For outside isolation, does the player have to have good driving skills? And will the players take most of the shots from the outside?

I find it interesting that everyone seems to know what these do. So explain why the leading scorers of the following games were outside players when Inside Iso was the chosen tactic:

I think the guards try to find the inside isolated player but if the inside defense is too good they have to shoot the ball themselves.

So playing Inside Iso against an Outside Box&1, the German guards had to keep shooting because the inside guys were too well defended? Then what in hell does the Outside Box&1 do? Cover the big men?

box and one, regardless of outside or inside, will always have 4 guys kinda playing zone and they will collapse on the inside guy when they get the ball so they will have to kick the ball back out to the guards who will then have a brief time where they can shoot the ball or pass it around.

Is that in theory, or is that how the GE actually works?
