This is probably a silly question but..if I select to train JS for either wingmen or forwards does it then make a difference if I play the taller player at SF or PF..as the case may be?

No, that's not what I meant. That certainly wouldn't be a silly qs. Let me take one case and clarify. My question was: if I train JS for wingmen will it be more effective if the taller trainee plays at SF rather than SG?

jump shot is not affected by height. Training it is nice b/c there are a lot of options for which players you want to train and you can still play them at their normal positions. Only thing is training js for pg/sg gives different sub skills than forwards or wingmen

In that thread where I put a link to, it states that JS training is not affected by the height...

I'm pretty sure JS training is affected by height if you're comparing between training it for guards or forwards. A 7'0 center should train JS faster at the forward position that at PG.
