Hi.. just got my laptop back from repair and had to install a load of stuff on it... when i click to see my live game i just see the background of the black/orange and no player names x's on the court etc.. it says click box to activate which i do but no change... i assume i need an add on from somewhere.. can someone help advise me what i should do in order to be able to view games...thanks to anyone that can...

flash maybe?
update your browser or just try a different like firefox or opera.

thanks mate.. didnt give me an option on IE.. just downloaded Firefox and it was straight forward - cheers..

ive always used IE but see more and more people mentioning Firefox... any advantages in your opinion... what are the differences between the 2..

using it for ages now, no idea whats better on it, i think they copy things from each other anyway.

make sure that you test some extensions for firefox.
adblock plus
all in one sidebar
forecastbox
dictionary
download statusbar
piratebay toolbar
and so on
also try to pimp it up with some nice themes...

still waiting for the first buzzerbeater extension like foxtrick for hattrick.

Firefox is superior in every way.

I have Firefox with a couple of useful plug-ins: Adblocker, which means no pop-ups or ads ever - not even the BB banner ads ;) and also Foxtrick, the Hattrick helper plug-in.

Then there's tabbed browsing. I've two tabs open at the time of writing: one watching my scrimmage and one on the forums. IE has tabs but they're no good!

cheers guys for the tips.. ill try find the ad banner that sounds like a must.. beyond this i cant see any immediate major differences..i can now see my games again which is cool so will give this firefox a go for a while and see how i get on...

I have been using the Firefox 3 beta(currently on beta 3) for about a month now and its pretty nice. Images look more crisper and pages load a bit faster. Less memory usage as well. Still in beta so a few bugs here and there but they will iron them out.
