I'm new and wanted to know if I should look for a Private League that was made up of mainly new teams or join any league that would accept me?

It really depends on what you find is fun.

But probably getting into a league of new teams will give you the best challenge and a chance to learn and improve wheras if you end up in a league where you get kicked week in week out then you aren't going to get much out of it
