I just made an expansion to my arena, but it has said "will be ready in about 7 days" for like 4 days now. Is that a bug, or is it just going but not telling me?

it's not a bug. the time left is an estimate only, and can ( usually does) take longer. basically they made it realistic by simulating real construction delays

you will probably find that from now it will take less than 7 days, but in generally it is nothing more than a guess. When you start the build assume it will take longer than it says
