With the prospect list out today, I have some questions as I prepare for my first draft (last season, I joined too late to even order my players). I am going to easily win my league -- it is all bots. That means I'll be drafting last.

My question is: what will be the BOT strategy in drafting? I am only investing in 3 scouting points a week, and already did the combine to see all the hights and ages. I am aiming to find 5 players that I'll be happy with -- is that about right? Or, do I need more since I will be drafting last?

Also, how accurate are the initial ratings? I scouted someone with a 5 (gray) ball rating and they received 2 orange balls. I am going to train big men next season, and there is a 7'3 18 year old PF who has a 2 gray ball rating. Is he worth scouting and interviewing?

Any other tips for drafting last in a bot league?

Thanks,

Mzungu

the bots would pick after the initial list(which is different to yours), and personally those list is pretty inaccurate so that it is just sligthly better then total random.

So the chanche to get your number one pick is around 66%, even the chanches to pick something solid in round 2 are there.

PS: hree scouting points isn't a low investment in my eyes, but in a bot league i think it is ok.

are you wanting 5 star talent or 5 players? you can only draft 3 players. The initial grey balls are pretty much useless. Bots are completely random when they draft. I would scout and then interview the ones who look promising 4 or 5 balls. You can do the combine which scouts all of the 1 and 2 (grey) ball at once it is 10 scouting points. You should get at least 1 decent player, but as the bots draft they will inevitably at some point pick some talent.
