How much rebounds will i give up using 1-3-1 zone?

My starting pf has marvelous and C has wondrous rebounding vs the opponent having 2 20k big man, their team like playing motion most of the time.

thats their team.

would 1-3-1 zone works better to their motion offense or 3-2 zone is fine?

Personally I prefer the 3-2 zone to avoid giving up too many offensive rebounds. Besides, in the 1-3-1 zone your PF is away from the basket, so you're not taking advantage of his rebounding.

well, 20k-Cs can still have stupendous Rebounding or so... but if their averages indicate that they aren't that great at rebounding, 1-3-1 isn't the worst choice. Your C needs to be an inside defense beast, though - and the PF should be a serviceable outside defender.

Since the PF does switch sides often, he still has a chance to grab some rebounds - check out my team's match today, where I outrebounded my opponent despite playing 1-3-1. My team might be a special case though, but if you can emulate it, this works.
