Depends on the opponent and on your team's strengths. In my view, you have the following options: Push the Ball, Base offense, Patient offense, an Iso offense, or Princeton.
If you don't know what to do at all, or have very balanced players who could be mismatches, go for Base offense.
If your team is balanced and has so-so offensive flow, Push the Ball might be the right offense for you. (NBA equivalent: New York Knicks)
If your team has very good offensive flow, go for Patient offense. (NBA equivalent: Boston Celtics)
If you have a dominant Wing player (SG or SF) who has high driving and passing, as well as good inside shooters at the big man positions and good 3pt-throwers on the PG and other Wing positions, outside Iso might be your best option. (NBA equivalent: Denver Nuggets until Carmelo was traded )
If you have a dominant Big man (PF or C) with high Driving and Passing, as well as good driving/inside shooting Forwards and 3point-specialists on the guard positions, inside Iso might be your best choice (Orlando Magic or Dallas Mavericks)
If you have a very good passing team with good driving Forwards and 3point-shooters on the Guard spot, Princeton offense might be optimal for you. Even though it is dubbed an outside offense, it does use your players' inside shooting more than Motion or RnG, particularly on the Forward Positions.
