Hello, I asked my friendly neighbourhood game master this question but he wasnt sure and said to try here. Basically in our league there is a team where the owner sold off all his players and now a bot operates this team. Im going to play them in a regulation series and im trying to see if I can somehow milk this to 3 games to pocket some extra cash. So basically if I dress 0 players to match the bot team, what will be the outcome of the game?

A friend linked me to a game in his league between two bots, where they both forfeited and received a loss. So assuming that happens, we would have 1 loss each after the first game, if I do the same thing second game, we would have 2 losses each, then I can just win a third game.

Im not sure though that, thats whats going to happen for all I know I might cause all of buzzer to crash with this stunt. Anyways maybe theres someone out there who has experienced something like this and can shed some light on it.

if both teams don't put 3 players the winner of that game is home team.

No wait, you will break the universe if you do that !

Hey, you won't have to pay your players for the last season's week if you win the first two games. You don't have to pay your players during economical weeks (monday to monday) with no official games, it was introduced this season. How much will you make if you go to game 3, like 10k ? Bah, keep things simple, win :)

Are you sure about that game from your friend's league ? Moa1 is right, unless it was changed, in case of a double forfeit, the home team wins. As proof, I call this game from the german top league (23028923), season 13. Both teams wanted to lose to finish 6th, Flying Munchkins playing at home scored a win and was screwed.

If you really really want to play gamey, win the first game, forfeit the second and win the third. You will gain an extra training week with 3 games. I disapprove of this approach but you are king in your kingdom.

My bad, I was the one who linked 4Minute to a game from my league. After comparing both teams' schedules to their record, the home team did receive a win, and the away team did receive a loss.

Sorry 4Minute and everyone else for any confusion!

hah no worries ao, im confused though Manouche said that if I sweep the relegation series then ill also save on salary the next week, when I guess game 3 would be played. I thought only 5th place team gets that luxury but hey if thats the case then ill definetly just go ahead and win lol. Thanks for the help guys.

5th place will get 2 weeks salary free but most teams will get one, that's why the TV contracts went down a bit. Only the conference finalists and the playdown teams in a tie-breaker will play during the last week.

And when the game is on a neutral court, no one wins ;)

What were the circumstances that lead to the double walkover in a cup final? Very intriguing.
