Wow now it makes a lot more sense, but do any of you guys know the multipliers for respectable/strong etc?

not true.

DMI is not real salary times 10 on proficient gameshape.
I have a 36 year old, who has dropped in skill this season.

His current salary is: 4977
His DMI is: 56600
gameshape proficient

His salary for next year will be lower due to him dropping in skills.
So DMI is not 10 times real salary.

Only in the dark, we succeed!

DMI/10 = virtual salary without deflation modifiers (id est old salary). The deflation modifier is very roughly 20% depending on the salary range.

edit : at proficient GS obviously ! :)

Thats interesting someone posted about this because i myself have been noticing DMI shows just how good a player is. I have actually recently been using it more than salary to judge my opponent. Also I have noticed you can even judge it even if gameshape is lower than proficient because DMI seems to calculate how good a player is plus gameshape plus experience. I think soon enough the (Deliberately meaningless index) will be used more often.
