I just got my first team, and have a week until first training, just wondering how I should start training. My main question is, should I train stamina(it's bad on alot of guys), or start right in on game skills and leave stamina until I've built a more competitive team?

you should hold off on stamina training until all star weekend. looking at your squad it doesn't look like you have many trainees (players that are 18 or 19 years old). you should decide what positions you want to train...C/PF, PG/SG, Wingers. once you decide that you should go after a few trainees in the transfer market. 3-4 trainees are a good number to have starting out and then increase to 6 once things really get going. make sure you have a training rotation in mind.

Thanks, I already plan on pumping passing/handling on my point guards, then both inside and outside shooting on 2 small forwards I'm bidding on(one 18, one 19). I've noticed people tend to consider only 18/19 year olds as "trainees", is a 20+ year old really pretty much "settled" and not worth pushing in any stat?

players training starts to tail off at around the age of 23. it's just a better investment to get the youngest players possible.

I just got my first team,

I hope you also only requested 1 team, because otherwise it would not be good.
If you did request more than 1 team you better report to a GM or you risk loosing all of your teams.

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

Currently, due to the fact BB is a young game, most of the players are around the same skill levels. To more faster create a wider range of players the BB's sped up training for young players to double the normal rate. Over time the training rate for young players will be brought down to 1.5x the normal rate(young players still train faster obviously) . Though the BB's never said what age was considered "young", its assumed its 18-21ish. 18-19 are considered trainees because they give you the longest possible time to train them up.

The point is to create a gap between groups of teams. To create a group of top tier teams down to new teams. Increasing training gives us better skilled players faster. These players would be bought by teams in the higher divisions(because they can afford it). This way every team in BB isn't going after the same player skill sets. Normal training isn't too slow, the training rate increase just speeds along a process that would have happened eventually.

It is not that simple. Fast training will produce a combination of skill level and age that will not be attainable once training slows back down. Call it unfair advantage if you wish.

I would hope that they would return to regular training rates at a gradual rate. Otherwise, I think you're right.
