I know height affects training, so he'll never be the best handler, but would a multi season plan to convert him into a small forward make him worthwhile? I'm thinking train him along with point guards this season, then look for center trainees next year and give him my scrimmage game at center with no backup, so he can get 48 minutes on the inside skills, then work on wingmen to finish him off. Would that make his skill set too wide and he'd be untrainable after 20, or would he be a keeper small forward at that point? New player, so I might be way off and not know what I'm talking about, but it makes sense to me. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I kind of doing a similar thing but from the other direction. I have two PF's with good outside skills. I'm finishing off their inside skills and will have some decent SF's in the future.

then that would explain why my SF/SG are behind the growth curve of my PF in JS even though my PF is 6ft 11.... when i bought they had a skill differential of around 5/6 (exc. salary) now my PF is better by 10ish... same training +/- few mins maximum...

well they did but i have rotated a lot... i alternate depending on where i play my guys..

eg

1 week JS forwards
next week 1-1 forwards
next week OS WIngmen
next week JS Wingmen
next week 1-1 forwards
next week OS forwards..

stuff like this.. so there are sublevels.. and during this time my SF has had noticeably less pops than my PF...as i said they always get max training maybe 1-2 occasions a 44-46min week nothing worse than this....
