Welcome all new comers and vets to DIII.12 for season 16!

Figured we should capture all our banter/chatter in an appropriately named thread. Noticed a few of you scored decent if not better than that drafts, me on the other hand not solid at all..

Nice to see a salary floor implemented this season also, though 44k seems a little low??

Welcome and Goodluck to everyone joining us. it appears blue side have got the resident div 2 side. however i havent had a look at tassie but they dont seem unbeatable.

44k does seem low.

another thing that caught my eyes was the 'League Average Net Income - 3k' . you have got to be kidding me guys. how do you plan on getting better with that?

looking forward to thrashing it out another season with you guys.

And i didnt score 1 decent Draft pick...

FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...!!!!!

I am looking forward to this season, had a look at my salary increases plus at everything and we should be in a good season i would think. I look forward to seeing how everyone improves and who takes the early initiative.

How is everyone going to go with the National Tournament this season???

nice round up of the top draft players! i have sent Atoy through to the U21 guys for tips on training! The best thing about him, is all his skills are in the key C skills.. 2ndaries will need work, but his primary base is sensational.. if trained properly, he could be a solid contributor for next season, and at 7'1 is ideal for C!

Hopefully season 16 can be as competitive as 15 was.. I think Tassie will be tough to beat, but they do not appear to be the beasts from div 2 we have copped the past few seasons, but looks can be deceiving.

So, ya welcome to the new guys... hopefully u can join us on the forums, as the more active we are here, the more enjoyable the league is!

oo.. pick up supporter to :D so need to get me a logo and find a PL!

Yeah was spewing Donny, thought I might have beaten you here, having said that I didn't do much drafting this season, only initial scouting so serves me right. I believe boys the reason you guys score the DII team is simple, the blue side is the side that lost 3 teams, 2 to relegation and 1 promoted ie Donny. I think it would/will be different if a red team can get up and out. Will be interesting to see how Tassie goes..

So I lucked in with a baby team in the cup which I am pleased about, should be able to play an average team and not hurt the start to my season. Any of you boys with talented smalls in from the draft want to sell I would gladly take them off your hands :)

It is really good to see how public our league is too, one of the strongest teams I would think in DII with the Chelsea Seagulls interested in our league..

i can see your reasoning there Brett makes sense.. how many teams are relegated from each league? just thinking there is only what 4 div 2 leagues and 16 div 3, so not every league should get a div 2 team right?

lucky you on the cup draw.. i have to think hard on cup game.. the team is stronger, but we have the HCA... can we win, i just dont think so...

we get lots of little visitors in here.. its good to see! hopefully they can help us get to the big leagues :D

could have an interesting strategy tho moving forward with draft.. pay 40k per week and do no scouting for 1 season, then in 2nd season again pay 40k per week and bang you will be able to scout the whole draft :D not sure i like the scout points carrying over..

the injury reset makes sense.. such a short break between seasons, only fair injuries heal over the off season.

Agree on both scouting and injuries, don't think the scouting will do anything other than convince people to keep tanking, still make money with such a low salary floor and get an unbelievable draft pick assuming they pick in the top 4...
