so i just saw this player on the transfer list hes 29 years old and apparently had a pop from last week in inside defense

I've had an old player pop before. From what I've read, the theory many people have is that each year decreases your training speed by a certain percentage. There's nothing that precludes older players from improving their skills, just nobody does it because it is inefficient to train them.

happened to one of my players a year ago, he was 27. a pop in rebound. as one of the previous posters suggested, the growth rate of pops decline as the player ages, but i dont think its ever strictly 0% (even when the player de-pops when he is really really old, i think he could still theoretically pop if you keep training him, maybe one pop a season lol)

I just had a 32 year old pop quite easily. (1 week training of team rebounding) Age is a factor, but not as big as you think, i guess, seeing as though the week before that I also had a 29 year old pop in JS after 1 week of team training.

Wow I must be a lucky guy. I also had a player whos 31 pop in rebounding.
