height means nothing when it comes to an actual game. only during training

He meant the second player should be a SG because his height is relatively short and suitable height for SG rather than a SF (ofc, not referring to the actual games, he was referring to training).

If you are new to game, you may want to avoid attempting to train SFs as it is quite difficult and annoying to train this position (which is why they sell for so much). The easiest positions to train (in my opinion) are PG and C. You may wish to focus on these positions. For myself, even 6'3" is too tall for a PG (the taller the PG the slower they train ).

Also, if you don't have patience, you may want to avoid training prospects altogether and simply focus on building a team of older vets (as they are cheaper... players tend to avoid buying older players).
