OFFENSE WINS MATCHES, DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Here are the minimum requirements we are going to try to reach with our prospects by the time they are 21 years old. It's going to be hard, but we have the required talent to achieve that goal.
As the above mentioned aphorism says, defense wins championships. This is especially the case on BB (e.g. a C with tremendous IS will always be beaten by a C with tremendous ID). So, make sure your players are ALWAYS trained in defense in priority.

Should you have any general question or remark about those requirements, or on the way to achieve those goals, feel free to ask them on this thread. That way a maximum of Luxembourg managers could take advantage of your question and, maybe, find the answer on a question they'd have. Moreover, the more managers are involved in the debate, the more we can learn from each other, which would be beneficial for both your private team and the Luxembourg U21/NT.

I've got one question:

Did the minimum requirements for the U-21 team were the same in England, or did you change it?

I also think that we should post another thread, how to train every position, because here are probably many managers, who don't have a clue how to train a player "perfectly".

The minimum requirements are slightly different. Fact is that there were a lot more prospects in England, which gave me the possibility to be more demanding. I have only spotted twelve (!!!) 18-year-old prospects, and nineteen 19-year-old prospects with a potential equal or higher than Allstar :-S. So, we'll have to focus on those 31 players (as well as on those who have a potential of Star) and bring them as close as possible from the requirements.

Now, to be honest, the requirements for the Cs/PFs are almost the same as they were in England, because it is the easiest spot to train. The requirements for the PGs, SGs, and SFs, however, are slightly lower. The reason is that our prospects have a lower potential (for some reason Luxembourg players with a high potential were almost all drafted by bots, and I have no way to "save" them from the dustbin).

You got a very good idea there, DSH. We should, indeed, work on a training schedule for each spot so that each and every manager who owns a Luxembourg player could train them as efficiently as possible. I'll work on it this week-end, most probably.

BB has evolved so I decided to create the requierements "new generation"

Each luxemburg players answering at these minimum requierements will receive a message box on the player's page...it depends on his salary but, in my mind, potential is still more important.

1) To join, one day, a national team, players must have minimum potential:
For U21 -> Starter
For NT -> All-Star

2) To have a chance to join, one day, a national team, players must have minimum salary:
18yo -> 3000$
19yo -> 4000$
20yo -> 5000$
21yo -> 7000$

So let's go for the diferent player's categories...

Driving : respectable (7)
Handling : respectable (7)
Salary around 4000$

End of 19:

Outside Def : prominent (10)
Driving : strong (8)
Handling : strong (8)
Salary around 8000$

End of 20:

Pass : sensational (12)
Outside Def : sensational (12)
Driving : prominent (10)
Handling : prominent (10)
Salary around 15000$

PLAYERS OLDER THAN 21

To be abble to join the Luxemburg NT, your player must have a salary at least equal to :

PG -> 20 000$
G -> 30 000$
SF -> 20 000$
AF -> 30 000$
C - > 30 000$

Then, priority is given to defensive and good secondary skills to help NT to win games against team with very higher wages. Of course, keep a good game shape is a priority too !
