I've been training his outside skills since I acquired him. My plan is to continue working on his guard skills for the next 2 seasons and then focus on his post skills. What should I do with him? I'd love some advice......

PF would definitely be easier to do, but he has quite some potential as a SF, especially considering his height and the allaround good outside skills. To make him a good SF, your training plan sounds quite good to me. His JR, OD and Passing will all need some serious work though.

For a PF, you can already switch to training his inside skills, or train his JS and Driving for one more season and focus on his post play afterwards. Either way, he'll need a lot of work in the Rebounding department, together with his ID, IS and JS.

You are only D5 so you don't need a world beater. Id say take the time and make this guy a sf. You have 4 and a half seasons to go but he can still a tough sf all the way up to D3. A team with a good versatile sf has a very effective weapon over all those D5 and D4 sg playing out of position. Just my two cents.

What do you mean by "have 4 and a half seasons to go?"

OK, semi brain fart lol. That shoulda logically been what I thought but a lot of the games I have played in the past restart everything every so often so in my tired state of mind I jumped to the wrong conclusion heh
