I think a lot of people train FT's or Stamina that week. My choice has been FT's in the past, but I'm team FT percentage is at 63.5% now (still not great), so I'm wondering if stamina would be more useful.

Last season they played two cup games during the ASG week.

Yeah, I wonder how great an effect stamina has on players performance. I'm leaning towards free throws this season just because I missed 19 my last game, but then again a tired player will miss more free throws than a rested one with equal skill so it probably works itself out. Can a player raise or maintain stamina/gameshape without specifically training it? I've read that they do, but those were older posts and I've also read the opposite.

Yes, but those who had exited the cup by then only got one scrimmage.

i think there are two scrimmages available on that week now so it is a normal 3 match week

Wouldn't that make it only 2? Technically you could squeeze in time for guys who desperately need it, but you still couldn't do 3 in one position.

Hmm, I think you're right, still those team training things do have to get sometime, nice to have a standard to set your clock by. One other question, do injuries happen in scrimmages? I know they do in cup and NT games, and not in PL. That might be another reason to take the week off

My two best players have had stamina drops, so I'm doing stamina this ASB.

Think of it as prepaying injury time, too.

Last season there was a game on the Saturday before the ASB, nothing on Tuesday, and a scrimmage on Thursday. My schedule looks the same this season.
