just wondering what stats allow some players to get fouled by defenders, or is fouling solely due to the defender's incompetence

I have a related question. My league has maybe 5 active players atm, so basically I win every game by 30 or 40 points. My offense is pretty good, but my defense is superb in comparison to everybody else in the league. Only thing is, I get the fewest fouls against out of any team. I actually have the 2nd worst foul differential :/

I manage my GS fairly well I think and I have high enthusiasm. Also I play predominantly inside offenses. But I don't think it can be solely defensive ineffectiveness or I would have more fouls against me. So there must be other things that affect fouls. Perhaps the the way you're playing? (ie TIE vs normal) Or maybe a hidden "skill" of being able to draw fouls that we can't access and I just picked up a bunch of sissies :P

So not a question really...but any light on the situation would be appreciated!

TIE might definitely have something to do with it. Also, there's a hidden aggressiveness skill that affects the number of fouls a player makes. Perhaps your opponents only have nonaggressive players?

oh, and low driving might play a role, too.

1. the ref may have something to do with contact allow for each game
2. inside strategy tends to foul more because of more contact
3. close game foul more in the late game situations, to get back the possesion
4. player experience, stamina and aggressive also play a role
